Join this national educational membership program sponsored by Baby Lock and taught by industry leaders in garment construction and design! This year’s long program will provide all levels of sewists with the opportunity to learn design concepts and principles, fit instruction, construction techniques and skill-building methods.

Moore’s is excited to be a Stitch Nation Retailer! Each month, our stores will host an exclusive viewing of a prerecorded Stitch Nation educational program for members. These informative video lessons are designed to build your sewing skills, increase your confidence, and expand your technical understanding of garment sewing. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcomed.

STITCH NATION PROGRAM HOST

The program is led by Peggy Sagers, who is the host of the PBS television series, Fit-2-Stitch. She also has her own brand called Silhouette Patterns, where she specializes in helping garment sewers achieve professional results with her easy methods. Featured designer Herve Pierre will anchor the program and share his new pattern line—only accessible to members!

YOUR ANNUAL STITCH NATION MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES

  • Twelve monthly one-hour lessons focused on garment sewing mastery hosted and viewed at one of our Moore’s store locations.
  • Each session is designed to help build your skills, confidence and technical understanding in a format to enable members to successfully duplicate the concepts and/or project.
  • In addition to the in-store viewing, members may also purchase a DVD of the monthly session, so you can replicate the skills you’ve learned.
  • Monthly patterns will also be available for purchase. Fit instruction and sewing techniques for these patterns will be integrated throughout the lessons and are focused on adult styles.
  • Access a private, members-only community YouTube page where you can interact directly with Peggy, ask questions and engage in daily discussions.

Please note: There is an additional cost for the monthly lesson DVDs and patterns. You may choose to purchase any or all of them each month at your local Moore’s store during the scheduled lesson viewing.

To participate, you must register for a Stitch Nation annual membership and choose the Moore’s location where you would like to attend the monthly in-store viewing sessions. The links below will take you to the Stitch Nation website to complete your registration.

Each month, your selected store will contact you with scheduling information and attendance details for the upcoming pre-recorded lesson viewing.

*If you join the program after it has begun in September 2026, you will pay the entire membership fee. However, you will have access to past month’s DVDs and patterns through your Moore’s location. **Stitch Nation membership fees are nonrefundable.
